Job Description:
• Preparing, editing, and formatting legal documents and correspondence.
• Ensuring that all court requirements are met on time and with accuracy.
• Organizing and maintaining legal files and case management systems diligently.
• Conducting fact-checks, researching legal articles, and aiding in case preparation.
• Facilitating effective communication between parties involved, including scheduling, and arranging meetings.
• Providing administrative support to legal staff such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars.
• Overseeing and handling confidential information responsibly and accurately.
Qualifications:
• A high school diploma
• Proven experience as a legal secretary or a similar role in a legal setting.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and comfortable with learning new software and technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, court system, and procedures.
• Strong typing skills and familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
